·  NextGenPOS: : NextGen POS is to provide flexibility and speed to market by replacing world's largest Point of Sale system with 3rd party next generation POS and Integration with back end system without any impact to business. Successfully implemented in Chile, Argentina, & Brazil. Work in progress to replace around the globe one country at a time.

·  Responsibilities:

·       Plan and manage middleware/Interfaces teams (Dev, QA and Release).

·       Plan and manage 3rd party delivery.

·       Alignment of multiple agile scrum teams and vendors. Performed role of  Scrum of scrums for 5 agile teams for  successful and smooth delivery.

·       Plan and managed QA testing for all pieces and End to End testing plan.

·       Manage risks for all the teams and headed the change management team.

·       Managed delivery alignment for teams in Bentonville, India, Mexico, Brazil & 3rd party vendors.

·  POS Release Manager: Walmart POS release typically consists of 12-15 projects for US and International market for over 10,000 stores including Wal-Mart, Sam's and all International brands that operate under Wal-Mart Inc. There are 6 releases per year with very tight timelines and requires extensive planning and collaboration between all project development teams, QA, Release and project stake holders. Walmart POS is responsible for over 450 billion dollars in sales.

·  Program Manager for tracking all active projects in POS release.

·  Budget management and tracking for entire POS release.

·  Risk management for release and individual projects.

·  Consolidated status and reporting for all projects to key stake holders and VP level.

·  Plan and execute integrated testing amongst different application development teams.

·  Know Your Customer: KYC was a key initiative to streamline process of acquiring customer information for money transfer. It allowed Walmart to gain significant market share in the money transfer industry by making the process seamless and highly efficient for both customers and cashiers. Reduction in capturing and processing time implemented by KYC created substantial operational savings.

·  Wireless Warranty:  Walmart is a leader in selling new cell phone plans. This project implemented a new process to sell Walmart owned warranty and service plans for cell phones at POS terminals. Project delivered over $200 million per year in profit and increased revenue by $500.00 million

·  Florida Lottery Initiative: Walmart's first implementation to integrate state lottery system with POS system. This project enabled Walmart to start selling state lottery tickets at POS registers. This project delivered over $500 million in revenue and drive more traffic to stores.

·  Canada Money Transfer: Canada money transfer integrated western union web page on Walmart POS register. This project was to enable and streamline money transfer process, reduce fraud and reconciliation issues. Both Walmart and Western union development teams were engaged in this effort to deliver a seamless product

·  Gift Receipt: Compliance project to close Gift receipt fraud loophole. This project was implemented with very tight timelines to avoid any legal penalties and possible exposure to fraud loophole. Gift Receipt based return process was revamped with this project and enabled store cashiers to track prices at item level.

·  KEES Scholarship: Lead the project as Technical Expert to over hall Kentucky Education Excellence Scholarship project which provide the automated tool to the schools and provide the user friendly web portal to students. The net result helped the Agency to reduce the work force to maintain the program’s day to day activities and stay compliant with Government regulations.

·  Grants Program: Worked as Lead Design/Developer to convert Grants program from CGI application to a web based application and also incorporate the additional requirements in the back end process. The net result helped the agency to stay compliant with Government regulations.
